The Gail's Harley-Davidson StoryGail grew up around motorcycles, started riding at an early age and developed her passion for Harley-Davidson® before most kids her age had even gotten behind the wheel of their parent's station wagon. Gail wanted to learn as much as she could about the dealership and began working as a teenager – at the bottom of the totem pole – in her father’s motorcycle shop. Gail quickly learned all phases of the day-to-day operation and later assumed a variety of key positions. As Finance Manager, Gail was number one in sales for all Harley-Davidson® Finance Managers in the United States from 1985 – 1988 and was hired by Harley-Davidson® Corporate to steer a national finance seminar. As General Manager she increased sales a minimum of 15% every year from 1996 – 2000. And her dealership has been nationally recognized in the top 15% of Harley dealers for customer satisfaction from 1997 – 2013. Gail purchased the dealership in 1997, becoming one of a limited number of female Harley-Davidson® dealership owners in the country. Today the business is recognized as one of the top dealerships in the country and the recipient of a multitude of local and national awards.
