Gail's Harley-Davidson believes in giving back to the community by supporting and contributing to many local and national charities. We are proud to donate regularly to dozens of schools, churches, golf tournaments and other fundraisers. We also host multiple
motorcycle rides throughout the year to raise money and awareness for different programs.
9-11 Tribute Ride and Rally
Gail's Harley-Davidson organized the 9-11 Tribute Ride and Rally in 2002 and it quickly became one of the most well attended and identifiable rides in Kansas City. This momentous event attracts enthusiasts from all over Kansas and Missouri as well as riders who typically do not attend group rides. The all day tribute begins with a huge bash at Gail's Harley-Davidson, complete with live bands, military and first responder presence, Flag Retirement Ceremony, local celebrities, vendors, food trucks and more. After the rally, the group heads off on an escorted police ride to a designated location for more food and fun. The ride has gained momentum since its inception and is expected to continue growing year after year. Ride registration is $5. All proceeds from registration and event t-shirt are donated to local charities(charities vary yearly).
Gail's Harley Davidson in partnership with The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, is also proud to host Spirit Ride, a motorcycle charity ride. The annual festivities begin with a rally at Gail's Harley-Davidson and continue with a ride to the grounds of the Liberty Memorial where participants enjoy a picnic and free concert. All proceeds benefit the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial. The National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Missouri maintains the nation's most extensive collections of World War I era artifacts, photographs, artwork, and documents.

Community Giving Policy
Gail's Harley-Davidson is a proud supporter of local community events and charities. We attempt to fulfill as many of the numerous requests we receive as we can. It is our policy to review every request. We Do Not Make Cash Donations.
Approval of community giving requests are granted based on budgetary allotments and working relationships with the organization, with emphasis on military, children's charities, police and fire/rescue department benefits, and those organizations championed by the local biker community. While we strive to approve all requests, the demand simply outweighs our supply.
Budget considerations and decisions for all requests will be done on an annual basis in December for the future year. After the annual approval, community giving will be considered on a case-by-case basis during the balance of the year, if budget dollars remain.
- All requests must be submitted on Gail's Harley-Davidson's Community Giving Request Form. It is recommended that the organization submit supporting documents along with this form. We wish to know about the requesting organization, its history and mission, event details and the importance of a donation from Gail's Harley-Davidson.
- Submit the request form to Gail's Harley-Davidson, Grandview, MO. Please be sure to give ample time for the review of your request. Aminimum of 60 days for review and action on your request is suggested.
- Approval decisions are made by the General Manager of Gail's Harley-Davison.
